Sending message from Linux to Windows as “net send”
For a while, I was searching for the command for sending a message throughout the network, from a linux machine to a windows machine. I found the command as:
console> smbclient -M targetMachineHostName
It asks you to type a message and finish it with ctrl-D. When the combination pressed, message is sent.
